Back in the late-Spring of 2010, I got a chance to attend a seminar hosted by Theoren Fleury, in the town of Simcoe, Ontario. He talked about his struggles with drug addiction and alcoholism among many topics. It was a great evening and it took a lot of courage for him to speak on his personal issues. It was a great evening. One I will never forget. At the end of the seminar, I got a chance to meet Mr. Fleury and he autographed my jersey. Click on the program for a larger image

Following their playoff exit to the Montreal Canadiens in May of '92, the Whalers introduced new jerseys for the 1992-93. I can remember buying this jersey at a sports store in Kanata. Sadly, these jerseys never brought any luck for the Whale, as they failed to make the post-season right up until their demise in 1997.
