OTTAWA SENATORS JERSEYS
I have been a fan of the SENS since 1992. From their inaguaral season when they won ten games, to the Yashin distraction, to the near bankruptcy, to the Emery saga, to the Heatley bondoogle. It has been easy at times being a fan of the SENS. But it'll always be GO SENS GO for me!
I know my collection of SENS jerseys is rather small, but I have had many in my possession over the years. Included at one time were jerseys of Marian Hossa, Sami Salo, Dany Heatley, Daniel Alfredsson, and even the guy who wore #19 before Jason Spezza. SENS fans are forbidden to say his name.. Here's a hint.. His last name rhymes with hash-pin!
Back then, I only wanted jerseys of current Ottawa Senators, and once the likes of Hossa, Salo, and Heatley were traded, I no longer wanted them. I sold my Alfredsson jersey to help pay for one of the peace tower jerseys below.

A classic sweater from the original franchise.
During the late 80s and early 90s, a campaign was formed to "Bring Back The Senators." These jerseys also go by the name of "Promotional Jerseys." They were to show the NHL that the city of Ottawa was serious, and could once again support professional hockey. Led by Dr. Bruce M. Firestone, Randy Sexton, Jim Durrell, and Frank Finnigan (one of the original Ottawa Senators), the NHL dream became reality on December 16th, 1991, when (along with the Tampa Bay Lightning) received NHL franchises. I have always been a fan of this jersey, and believe it would make a great third jersey.
Purchased from the "makeshift" Ottawa Senators store on Moodie Drive in Ottawa back in 1992. It's a great jersey, but, no longer fits me anymore!
I got this given to me for free. It's in pretty good shape for its age, with the name "Lindsay" on the back. Still, it is a SENS jersey, so an asset to my collection! (P.S.- Thanks "S" for the jersey!) :)
From the RBK Edge Jersey Series, this is the current Senators' road jersey. This is a great jersey which features the club's original "O" logo on the sleeves, as well as an updated primary logo. It has been worn to a few games at the bank (a.k.a. ScotiaBank Place).
I added the 20th anniversary patch to the jersey. It is the same jersey in both pictures, just with different lighting!
The jersey that is loved by some, hated by many. Personally, I don't mind it. Come on all you leaf fans, if your team came out with a blue and white jersey with "LEAFS" written on the front, you would buy it too!
Worn by Vaclav Varada during the 2005-06 season. Varada also played for the Buffalo Sabres before returning overseas after the 2007 NHL season. Jersey has puck & stick marks on it.
Purchased at a store in Orangeville, Ontario for $75.00. This Semi-Pro jersey includes the fight strap, and is virtually brand new.
An autographed jersey from Brad Shaw. Shaw was one of the "original" Ottawa Senators from their first year back in 1992-93. He also played for the Hartford Whalers, St. Louis Blues, and Washington Capitals. He was briefly a captain for the SENS. There is no COA for this jersey, but it was purchased from a reputable seller on Ebay.
Erik Karlsson Ottawa Senators Alternate Jersey. This jersey replaced the "SENS" black jersey. I bought this at The Sens Store in October 2011. The patch is for the NHL All-Star Game that the City of Ottawa will host in 2012. This is a great jersey that pays tribute to the original Ottawa Senators franchise from the 1920s and 1930s. I wonder what could of been had the Senators remained in Ottawa past the 1934-5 season when they moved to St. Louis.... GO SENS GO!
